Frankston Municipal Court serves the residents of Anderson County, the 235th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Frankston district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Frankston Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2018 and has dedicated his life serving the Frankston. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Anderson County Courthouse. The Frankston Municipal Court is located on 200 West Main Street in the city of Frankston, the Anderson county seat.

The administration of justice in the Frankston Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Anderson County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Anderson County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Frankston Municipal Court was first built in 1908 in the Anderson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in October 1901. Four courthouses have been built in Frankston. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 903-876-2400 to the court during office hours to get more information.
