Frankston Municipal Court was first built in 1908 in the Anderson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in October 1901. Four courthouses have been built in Frankston. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
