Texas African American Photography Archive ‘s dedication is to collect, preserve and catalog paper elements related to Dallas County history. The Texas African American Photography Archive makes the collected items available to the public for research.
With the guidance of the Dallas County Historical Commission, the archive researches the history, archeology, and architecture in Dallas County and educates citizens on the significance of preserving their rich heritage.
